Android Concept

Here is a proof-of-concept video showing the Android operating system on a REDFLY Smartphone Terminal. Speed and stability will increase as the concept is developed. The Android device’s output resolution is changed to 800×480 then video output is routed to the REDFLYs 8-inch screen. REDFLY also allows the use of its built-in keyboard and touchpad to control the Android device.

If you are going to be at CES, this proof-of-concept will be on display in our booth (#3934).

I have a first gen Redfly and a G1. I would be happy to do beta testing and anxious to have this product so that I can have even more uses for my Redfly.

I was getting ready to sell my Redfly after getting the G1 (I bought the Redfly for use with my Tmobile Dash) and saw the article on Windowsfordevices.com that a G1 client is coming out. Guess I don’t need to sell the Redfly now. I too would love to participate in a beta G1 program and you can email me at my supplied email if there is a beta program.

What such a great idea i already use the redfly with my AT&T Blackjack but with the AT&T the internet is no where near liek the internet on the T Mobile G1 there is a huge difference. I sell on amazon.com and the information will not pull up on the AT&T internet but when I log in on the G1 phone I am able to do all of my work on the G1 phone so to have my redfly work on the G1 so I can work more on the phone and be able to use my wifi on the G1 because the blackjack does not have that this will be just great. Please hurry up with this product. Thanks redfly and keep up the great work you are doing. And for all those haters who said this product would be D.O.A yea right. Its not to dead to countinue to grow so there has to be a need. I caint work without my redfly.
